The David Michael Reid Foundation will award one four-year scholarship (subject to maintaining a minimum gpa). The Foundation will pay all costs associated with tuition, room and board, and books for the candidate selected.  Our initial scholarship will be awarded to an area high school senior.  College transfers and junior college students are not eligible to apply at this time.

 

Criteria

High school seniors attending high schools in the following counties are eligible for the David Michael Reid Foundation, Inc. scholarship:

• Pennsylvania

  • Bucks
  • Chester
  • Delaware
  • Montgomery
  • Philadelphia

• New Jersey

  • Burlington
  • Camden
  • Gloucester
  • Mercer
  • Salem

ELIGIBLE AREA HIGH SCHOOLS ARE PERMITTED TO SEND ONE (1) HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR APPLICANT TO THE DAVID MICHAEL REID FOUNDATION.  PLEASE SEE YOUR GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT FOR MORE INFORMATION.

STUDENTS...

APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS VIA THEIR SCHOOL GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT.  PLEASE SPEAK WITH YOUR GUIDANCE COUNSELOR ABOUT APPLYING FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP.

The Scholarship Committee of the Foundation will evaluate candidates based on academic performance, financial need, participation in extracurricular activities and involvement in community / charitable endeavors.
